Other ants think we hive guarding ants have good ant life. We do not go form jungle colonies or do pathfinding. We got no ant big walk (24,28,32,72km) or do ant playground (climb wall climb rope). Some ants oso think we like colony guarding ant. Colony guarding ant have good life. Some guard from moon-fall to sun-fall. Other work 1 sun-cycle then rest 1 sun-cycle.
Our duty cycle is actually 2 whole sun-cycles or 3 whole sun-cycles. Duty starts just after highest sun then end 2 or 3 sun-cycles later. Say duty start on the 1st sun-cycle of the 1st week-cycle (1S1W). small drone ant want us to check-in by SF4W. (SF= sun-fall,1900; 4W= 4 watches, ie 4hrs. Since 4W is written after SF, it means 4hrs after sun-fall, ie 1900+0400= 2300) Small drone ant want us to do power training so that we pass the Insect Power Performance Test or whatever it stands for. After that if no big ant or old ant or old big ant got dung to throw at us then we can go buy kitchen. Kitchen sells food fit for insects. If have dung then lick feelers.
Before duty cycle start the not-so-big ants will tell us who guards which part of the camp. Then we will get our ant-cannons. Then we will start our duty cycle (mount). We will go take over duty team (shift) 1. I am from duty team 2. When we take over duty team 1 they are always very happy. Then we must guard for 2 sun-cycles. Guard until highest sun of 3S1W. Then Duty team 1 will take over us. Then they will become sad. Once we return our ant-cannon we must listen to big ants talk. Then we can check out. Sometimes big ant ask us to clean our ant holes or throw more dung at us. If all goes well we can leave by 4WSF (4watches before sun-fall,1500). If cannot we lick feelers again.
Normal ants check out 2 times every 2 week-cycles. We check out 3 times every 2 week-cycles. But our check out time very short. Sleep 1 moon-fall then must check in the same sun-cycle after sun-fall. So we check in on 4S1W. Not enough time to see butterflies. 3 sun-falls later we check out at 1S2W. (week-end mount, ie weekend burnt guarding camp) Then check in on SF-2S2W (tuesday of 2nd week after sun-fall,2300). Then we check out on 5S2W. Then we will be very very very happy. Because we have 2 sun-cycles outside because it the end of the week-cycle. Enough time to see butterflies. Enough butterflies to see. Then we check in on last sun-fall of 2nd week-cycle after sun-fall and everything starts all over again.
PS: in case u are confused, juz remember i'm not free on alternate week-ends, not free = in camp frm thurs-evening to mon aftn. And to those bastards, esp chuen, who keep asking me out to eat, drink, shit, shop, watch harry potter/emma watson on wk-ends, pls note that if im out this wk-end means i'm in camp 4 the next wk-end.
